Large-scale skarn iron deposit, consisting of stratiform ore bodies in the contact zone between a Jurassic-Cretaceous monzonite intrusion and Mid-Ordovician limestone. The deposit is one of series of skarn iron deposits in the Wu'an area, southern Taihang Mountains. The geological setting and features of the deposit are similar to neighbouring deposits, such as the Zhongguan Fe deposit.
