Kalangu Pb-Zn-Co-Ni deposit, Tamu-Kalangu (Tam-Kalanfu; Tamu-Kala) belt, Aketao (Akto; Aqto) Co., Kezilesu (Kizilsu; Qizilsu) Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang (Xinjiang-Uygur) Autonomous Region, China

Stratabound Mississippi Valley type (MVT) Pb-Zn deposit, located in the carbonate platform of the passive margin of the Tarim plate. The orebodies are hosted in brecciated rocks of several sequences, consisting of Devonian-Carboniferous sandstone and overlying carbonate rocks. Cobalt ores were discovered in the 1950s, in the early stages of exploration.
