Garnet peridotite complex, hosted within an eclogite-bearing quartzofeldspathic gneiss terrane. The garnet peridotite consists mainly of garnet lherzolite and minor inter-layered dunite. The complex is cross-cut by several garnet pyroxenite dikes.
Located about 20 km south of Da Qaidam.
