A very small Ag-Hg-As deposit, in the Pampa Larga district and not far from Veta Negra and Alacran mines.

The Betpakdalite was confirmed by EDX, PXRD and microprobe analysis by Dr. Jochen Schluter, curator of the Hamburg mineral Museum, Germany.
