Ancient lead mine (closed in 1894), working Pb-Ag mineralizations in devonian slates.
Located 1 km south of Kransberg and about 4 km east of Usingen.
Recently (spring 2010) the owner has put up signs warning that it is forbidden to dig for minerals on the dumps. Only the Minerals and Fossils Club Bad Nauheim is allowed to dig.
