Mamut Mine, Gunung, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia

A Cu-Au-Ag mine located in eastern Malaysia.
On the southeastern slope of Gunung, 60 km due east of Kota Kinabalu. Active 1975-1999. Porphyry type Cu-Au deposit genetically related to a quartz monzonite (adamellite) porphyry stock.
