Mogilata deposit, Septemvri mine, Madan ore field, Rhodope Mts, Smolyan Oblast, Bulgaria

In Bulgaria “mine” usually uses in exploration-administrative term and not always coincides with the name of the ore deposit. Concerning to this case, Septemvri mine includes the following deposits: Sharenka, Baram, Mogilata, Osikovo and Pechinsko.
It’s important to be known, that there is a change in the name of this mine:
- from the beginning of exploration at 1953 to 1989 the name was Deveti Septemvri mine (9th of September mine in English)
- from 1989 till now – Septemvri mine (September mine in English).
