Sandstone-type uranium deposit, occurring at the western edge of the Longchuanjiang basin, close to the eroded outcrop of granitic basement. The ore bodies are of tabular, stacked and lenticular shapes. While the former two occur at shallow depths, the latter are hosted in deeply buried thin-bedded silty argillaceous beds enriched in organic matter and pyrite. The deposit has been mined from an open pit.
