3 E-W lodes: Main, Great and South producing tin copper and arsenic ores. The only traceable surface indication is Stevens Shaft (see grid ref), sunk on Great Lode. This is one of a series of mines that were established on lodes discovered during the digging of the Tavistock Canal Tunnel.
