The old Bujiger fluorite mine is located in the northern part of the Gobi Desert, about 40 km south of Choir town. The deposit consists of three almost monomineralic main veins of hydrothermal fluorite and many smaller fluorite-quartz or baryte-fluorite veins typical for Mongolia. Fluorite can be found in many forms - but most typical are cubes.
