In the vicinity Co mine was active between 1780 and 1843. Stratiform tin-bearing deposit is also known from the area (i.e. in Krobica and Gierczyn). Cassiterite mineralization + Fe-Co-Ni minerals occur among mica schists of the Kamienica Schist Range.
