Qinggangping (Xiqinggangping) Au deposit, Xiaoqinling gold belt, Luoning Co., Luoyang Prefecture, Henan Province, China

Gold-bearing quartz-carbonate veins, hosted in fractures and breccias along the contact zone of a Proterozoic andesite with an underlying Archean biotite-hornblende-plagioclase gneiss. The mineralization is largely the same as those in the neighbouring Ganshu, Maying and Shanggong mines, which are working veins that are hosted within the same geological structure.
