Maria-Teresa Mine, Huari, Avaroa Province, Oruro Department, Bolivia
("Berndtite" and "ottemannite" are reported from here, and alleged fragments widely distributed in species collections, but these specimens were originally sold as herzenbergite, appear to consist mainly of pyrite, pehaps with minor herzenbergite, and no ottemanite or berndtite is visible, although it may be detectable by XRD.)
The Maria Teresa mine is NOT the type locality of anything except herzenbergite, notwithstanding literature errors to the contrary.)
