The following data has been drawn from the Deposit file of the MRNF (Ministère des ressources minérales et de la faune) :
"The rocks being worked correspond to an important lava fragment associated to the Drummondville Olistostrome, an amigdular basalt, massive-looking, greenish dark grey, and at times reddish. The amigdules are numerous and composent of white calcite.
In the North part of the quarry can be seen a few metric levels of pillow lava and a level of volcanic breccia composed of sub-rounded amygular lava. Clayshale and siltsone are also present."
