Maying Mine, Luoning Co., Luoyang Prefecture, Henan Province, China
Gold-bearing quartz veins, hosted in fractures along the contact of a Proterozoic andesite with an underlying Archean biotite-hornblende-plagioclase gneiss. The mineralization is largely the same as those in the neighbouring Ganshu (incl. Xiqinggangping) and Shanggong deposits, which are located along the same geological structure.
