Kolbermoor, Rosenheim, Oberbayern, Bayern, Deutschland
Pits where peat was mined for use in the hot peat mud baths in the neighboring town of Bad Aibling. Refikite was found inside "fossil" spruce roots in the peat, and Kolbermoor is sometimes erroneously given as the type locality for refikite.
