Cesano No. 1 well, Cesano geothermal field, Bracciano Lake, Rome Province, Latium, Italy

(Pozzo Cesano 1, Campo geotermico di Cesano, Lago di Bracciano, Roma, Lazio, Italia)

Located East of Bracciano Lake (1252-1254 m depth).

Similar to the Russian occurrence, kalistrontite was discovering in material coming out of a drilling well made by E.N.E.L. in Cesano Area (Baccano Valley) near Rome. The mineral is inside a calcareous core with calcite, anhydrite, celestite in association with kalistrontite in colorless crystals with perfect cleavage.
