Ocus Stanley's Mine, Mt Ida, Montgomery Co., Arkansas, USA

Ref.: Rocks & Min.: 63:113; Engel(1952). A quartz mine located about 6 miles SE of Mt Ida. Started in the 1800's and is in operation. First mined by native Indians. Mineralization is in Crystal Mountain Sandstone. Workings feature numerous cuts & pits.
