Ok Tedi Mine, Mount Fubilan, Star Mts, Western Province (Fly Province), Papua New Guinea

A gold-copper mine started 1984. Located near the W. Irian frontier. Owned by a joint venture of BHP, Amoco & 3 German companies. 410 million tons of ore reserves, including 34 million tons of gold ore @ 2.86 grams/ton (1984).
