A complex of two stratovolcanos. The older is Nevado de Colima. The younger is 5 km distant and is commonly referred to as Colima volcano. It is 13,448 feet (4,100 meters) high and is Mexico's most active volcano. The complex is located 125 km (75 miles) south of Guadalajara.
