Harper Mountain, Spray, Wheeler Co., Oregon, USA

Site is along John Day River 4.7 miles west of Spray, at the foot of Harper Mountain. Minerals occur in the lower flow of the Picture Gorge member of the Miocene Columbia River Basalt Group.
