The Jiuqu block forms the easternmost part of the Dongshan Mine area, the Dongshan block is located in the west and the Dakaitou block inbetween. In 1983, a find of a 29 kg nugget of almost pure native gold was reported from the Dakaitou block.
NOTE: The grid reference is centered on the Jiuqu block.
