The Poshi intrusion is elliptical in shape and covers an area of about 3.2 km2. The ultramafic body has a distinct zoning, with gabbro to pyroxene peridotite to peridotite to dunite, from the ore-bearing rocks outward. Nickel grades at 0.3% to 0.6%, with maximum values up to 0.96%, whereas the Cu and Co grades are generally below the cut-off value. Reserves are estimated at 147,000 tonnes of Ni.
