Magmatic-hydrothermal gold deposit, hosted in volcanic rocks around a porphyritic granodiorite intrusion. The deposit is genetically related to the neighbouring Xiaochanggao deposit and the Jinchanggouliang deposit in Inner Mongolia.


NOTE: Not to be confused with the Erdaogou Au-Ag deposit in Huadian County of Jilin Province.
