Shallee Mine, Shallee Mountain, Silvermines District, Co. Tipperary, Ireland
The site is very poor from a mineral collecting point of view. There are many buildings around the site including a few core sheds with thousands of barren cores. The underground collecting scope is poor but workings are easily accesible. A lot of the site is overgrown. There is an engine house, mine office, chemical store, laboratory and a few other concrete structures (all of which are derelict and empty).
Various opencasts workings but are barren for mineral collecting.
