A former small Ag-Pb-Au mine located in sec. 5, T23S, R11E, on National Forest land.
Mineralization is hosted in the Oro Blanco Formation and the Montana Peak Formation. Map shows the mine near contact with Oro Blanco formation sandstone (Cretaceous), near the contact of Montana Peak Formation with the Ruby Diorite and the Oro Blanco Formation. An associated rock unit is the Ruby Diorite. Ore concentration was secondary enrichment.
Area structures include NW- and NE-trending fault zones. Tectonic elements include block faulting.
