A small skerry in the Stokksund strait between the islands of Store Arøya and Stokkøya. Pajkull collected specimens of
homilite at this locality (and on Stokkøya) in the 1870s, many of them are now in the collection of The Naturhistoriska Riksmuseet, Stockholm, Sweden. These are labelled (in swedish): "från holme i Stocksundsund" (from a skerry in Stokksund). See also the photo of Knut Eldjarns homilite specimen, which originate from the same find.
This locality can be the one W.C. Brögger (1890) refers to as the "Homilit-Melinophan-Fundstelle von Stoksund" (Homilite-Meliphanite locality at Stoksund).
