A former surface Marble quarry located in secs. 28 and 29, T16S, R30E, on private land. The property includes a patented 143.8 acre placer claim.

Mineralization is an extensive deposit of marblized Excabrosa Limestone.

This was the first productive marble deposit in Arizona. It was patented in 1912. The deposit is remote from major population centers and is surrounded by the Coconino National Forest.
