Classic locality which for many decades has yielded loose crystals, mostly imperfect, of the "jacinto de Compostela" variety of red quartz, derived from the local Keuper outcrops. Loose crystals and alluvial material are scattered all around the locality. A few crystals reach 7 or 8 cm, but most range from 1 to 5 cm.
Clásico yacimiento valenciano en el que durante décadas hemos podido recoger cristales sueltos, imperfectos en su mayoría, de jacinto de Compostela, procedentes del keuper que aflora alrededor de la zona y que rodados se han esparcido por todo el paraje. Se han encontrado ocasionalmente cristales de hasta 7-8 cm, pero la mayoría oscilan entre 1 y 5 cm siendo lo más habitual.
