Texas mine, Atahualpa district, Calama, El Loa Province, Antofagasta Region, Chile

(Mina Texas)

Texas mine is the major adit of this small district; during 1930 to 1950 this mine was exploited for Ag ore.
The genesis of the ore deposit geology was found in diorite cupola of the Chuquicamata batholith, which intruded into older shale and andesites.
