Fortuna mine, Las Cañas district, Huasco Province, Atacama Region, Chile

(Mina Fortuna)

Fortuna was the main adit of the district; active during the first decades of 1900, is now abandoned.
Galena and Pb carbonates hosted in chloritic calcareous tuffs and Neocomian limestones.
