RutilePerovskite Hill, Magnet Cove, Hot Spring Co., Arkansas, USA
A slope break off the west side of Magnet Cove, several hundred feet southwest of the Cove Creek Bridge at Hwy. 51. One of Magnet Cove's most famous localities, it has been off limits for many years, but was actively collected by Clyde Hardin and a few others in the 1970s & 1980s and specimens are in many collections. The carbonatite exposed in the Kimzey Magnetite Mine extends under this location. Most specimens were found loose in the soil.
