Uranium deposit 3,5 km E from Tachov discovered in 1954 and mined from 1961 to 19. 12. 1990 (last mine trolley). The mine Vítkov II has 2 main shafts, 2 exploratory shafts, 83 km of horizontal levels and 43 km of vertical works. Depth of excavation was 1 050 m. Total Uranium mined 3 972,6 tons.
Mine Víkov II was connected underground with mine Oldřichov.
Mine is currently flooded and sealed with concrete panels, majority of dumps were used for gravel.
