A Cu occurrence/prospect with surface workings located in sec. 18, T14S, R13E.
Mineralization is hosted in rhyolite. The ore body strikes N48E and dips 66W.
Stony crystallized rhyolite tuff, possibly somewhat silicified, has minor, partly oxidized pyrite and minor to moderately abundant yellow-brown limonite stain. Some copper silicate on fractures. Structure noted is one fracture visible in the shaft which may or may not be part of the main fault zone here separating Cat Mountain Rhyolite and Short's Ranch Andesite (Cat Mountain Rhyolite noted only on the dump).
Workings include a shaft.
