A Cu occurrence/prospect with underground workings located in secs. 7, T13S, R12E, on National Park land.
Mineralization is a contact metasomatic deposit with a tabular ore body 1.5 meters wide, striking N-S and dipping 40E, hosted in andesite. Alteration includes argillitic; propylitic. The shear zone contains massive crumbly specular hematite, minor quartz vein material, and has considerable Cu silicate and black massive limonite on small fracture surfaces. Minor argillitic alteration: the footwall is somewhat bleached, a few soft white, pale green stringers occur in the hanging wall. An associated rock unit is quartz monzonite.
Workings include a tunnel.
