A Cu occurrence/prospect located in sec. 22 & 23, T12S, R8E.
Mineralization is ore hosted in clastic sedimentary rock (Cretaceous red beds). Light copper silicate-carbonate in a 1-2 inch wide zone adjacent to the fault. Chalcopyrite and chalcocite boxwork in quartz vein with light to moderate propylitic alteration in the vicinity. Covellite and chalcocite remnants are also present. Ore control was a fault trending N60E. Alteration includes propylitic.
