Bric Poi, Bricherasio, Torino Province, Piedmont, Italy
Quartzites of the Sanfront-Pinerolo Unit (Dora-Maira Massif) crop out on the southern slope of Bric Poi, mainly on the left bank of Chiamogna di San Michele brook between Terranera bridge and Case Brandino. Here, a quarry operated for some years in the second half of the 20th century. The manganese mineralization occurs as filling of the quartzite fractures.
