Věchnov is a village and municipality (obec) in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 6.81 square kilometres (2.63 sq mi).

Věchnov lies approximately 26 kilometres (16 mi) east of Žďár nad Sázavou, 52 km (32 mi) east of Jihlava, and 149 km (93 mi) south-east of Prague.
