Fluorite Mine, Praclos, Tailhac, Langeac, Haute-Loire, Auvergne, France

Ancient fluorite mine, working a barite-fluorite vein hosted by biotite-sillimanite gneisses. During its period of activity, 500 tons of fluorite were worked out. A barite vein crosses the main vein, which is truncated to the north by a fault along the Barlet coal basin.
Located on the hillside 500 m SW of Praclos, 1.5 km SE of Tailhac and around 7 km SSW of Langeac.
