TremoliteJeffrey mispickel prospect, Faraday Township, Hastings Co., Ontario, Canada
A small shaft and 2 small pits were sunk in marble southwest of Carfrae Lake. The marble has quartz veining which contained pyrite and arsenopyrite. Site visit in 2011 confirms location, but workings are fully overgrown now. Both pits were used as garbage dumps from 1950's to 1980's. Rock dumps to 3 sides of the pits. Shaft completely filled in. Additional small workings located 150m to the northwest on a steep slope.
