A small mine, working a lode that may be the western extension of the Wheal Prussia and Cardrew lode. The sett included Wheal Montagu and Wheal Harmony.
From 1819 to 1844, the combined output of Wheals Montagu and Harmony was 29,407 tons of 10.5% copper ore and 3 tons of black tin. Treleigh Wood Mine produced 37 tons of 8% copper ore and 533 tons of black tin from 1874 to 1878.
