This group was formed by amalgamation of Ting Tang Mine, Wheal Moyle and Carqueen Mine. The sett, which straddles the boundaries between Carharrack, Gwennap and Lanner parishes, is roughly triangular: its eastern and western boundaries are defined by the B3298 and Pennance Road, respectively; its southern boundary runs along the road that joins the former just northeast of West Trevarth. Ting Tang section is in the north and Wheal Moyle section in the southeast; Carqueen section, of which no plans exist, is not identifiable.
The main lodes, from north to south, are North Lode (Roach's Lode), Middle Lode, South Lode, Old Lode, Flat Lode and Tin Lode, of which the latter two are located in Wheal Moyle section.
