Carn Camborne Mine worked two NE-trending lodes, known as North and South lodes, on the northwestern slopes of Camborne Beacon. The southwestern boundary of the sett is marked by the Camborne-Beacon road; to the east and north, it is adjoined by Wheal Harriett, and the Camborne Vean and Stray Park mines setts, respectively. The grid reference marks the site of Western Shaft, which is shown on the 1906 Ordnance Survey map just northeast of the Camborne-Beacon Road. The area is now built over; the former mine workings are completely obscured.
From 1862 to 1879, Carn Camborne Mine produced 6,310 tons of 5% copper ore, 115 tons of black tin, 40 tons of arsenical pyrite and 72 tons of arsenic.
