A small copper mine, which is now largely built over. It worked an ENE-trending lode in the hangingwall of an elvan dyke, which is the eastward extension of that encountered at Great South Wheal Seton; it continues westward into the West Wheal Seton sett. The mine seems to have been rather unsuccessful; it only produced 5 tons of copper ore in 1863.
