Geology: The deposit at the Copper Hill prospect is a network of chalcopyrite veinlets in sheared greenstone (Brooks, 1902; Chapin, 1918). The property was explored by surface stripping in 1916 but apparently there has been no work on the property since. The greenstone is probably basalt or andesite of the Descon Formation of Silurian and Ordovician age (Herreid and Rose, 1966).
Workings: Only a little surface stripping.
Age: Unknown, other than that the deposit is in Silurian or Ordovician rocks.
