Yubdo (Joubdo; Youbdo; Joubda) District, Gimbi, Wallaga (Welega; Wollega; Ouallega) Province, Ethiopia

Alaskan type PGE deposit located near Gimbi. Au/Pt Placers in soils derived from laterites.
Mining 1926-41 produced 2.7 tons of platinum.
