Location: Location plotted is northernmost of two localities labeled 21 in Barker and Clautice (1978, p. 14), on northern spur of Rabbit Mountain about 4.5 mi (7.2 km) north of VABM 3081 (=ARDF Record CO010); located to within 1 mi (1.6 km).
Geology: Rhyolite dikes <100 feet thick intrude argillite in a sequence of phyllite, siltstone, and quartzite. Small gossans occur in argillite; pyrite locally occurs in quartzite (Barker, 1981, p. 81-82).
