Unnamed Occurrence (ARDF - HE199; west side of lower Sunny Gulch), Valdez Creek District, Matanuska-Susitna Borough, Alaska, USA

Location: This occurrence is at an elevation of about 4,000 feet, on an isolated knob at the north end of the ridge on the west side of Sunny Gulch, a tributary of Timberline Creek. The map site is in the SW1/4 of sec. 17. T. 21 S., R. 2 E., of the Fairbanks Meridian. The site is marked on Plate I of Smith (1981). The location is accurate to within 500 feet.
Geology: The occurrence is in a small, Cretaceous intermediate intrusion. No other information about the deposit has been made public.
Age: Cretaceous or younger.
