Unnamed Prospect (ARDF - PE054), Pine Creek, Prince of Wales Island, Ketchikan District, Prince of Wales-Outer Ketchikan Borough, Alaska, USA

Latitude: 56°19'26"N
Longitude: 133°16'44"W
Location: Center of a single placer mining claim near the mouth of Pine Creek, about a mile east of the north tip of Bell Island, northern Prince of Wales Island. The location is known to within a few hundred yards. Locality 56 of Grybeck, Berg, and Karl (1984).
Geology: A gold placer indicated only by the presence of a claim located here in 1967. There is no record of production or of further work on the property and no other lode or placer gold deposits nearby. The rocks in the vicinity consist of Silurian Hecate Limestone and associated polymictic conglomerate (Brew, 1997 [OF 97-156-F]).
Workings: A single placer gold claim was staked in 1967 but apparently has not been active since. No other confirmation of gold values and no other mineral deposits nearby.

Reserves: None
