Location: Location plotted is from p. 16A of Cobb and others (1981), in T9S,R21W; west of Hardway Creek and about 2.5 mi (4 km) due south of hill 1840, near Battery Lake; located to within 1 mi (1.6 km).
Geology: Chalcopyrite blebs in Triassic limestone and chert adjacent to a small mafic sill or dike. (I.L. Tailleur, written communication, 1968).
